Cannot Connect to SQL2008 Database

I have uploaded my application to the DASP.net servers and I am able to get to my login in screen when I go to my webpage. However after the login I get the follwing error:

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

The Problem is that I have contacted DASP.net support and showed them my connection string and have fixed the issues concerning the connection string. I get the same error message

When I run my application locally I have no issues, the application runs fine.

Has anyone run into this problem before?

Thanks for the help. The web page link you posted pointed me in the right direction. I made a few changes to my connection string but then got error#: 26
I found this link solved error 26 issue:
