  1. Hi,

I've been having problems sending my email through Outlook in the past month or so. I was able to Receive/Send mails successfully for a long time and I haven't made any changes to the account setup in Outlook when all of a sudden about a month ago it stopped sending emails. I am forced to use the webmail interface in order to send out my emails. Can you please tell me whether the setup has changed and I have to change my Outlook settings? I've tried playing with different settings unsuccessfully.

    Thanks.

The best thing to do is to open a support ticket. Include your domain name and any error messages you are receiving. Also, which ISP do you use to connect to the Internet? Do you use an antivirus application? Do you have a firewall?

It could be that your ISP recently blocked SMTP connection to 3rd party SMTP server. We've seen this happened a lot with many ISP in the past 6 months.

  4. I am using Optonline by Cablevision. Have you seen other people with same issues from same ISP?
I will open a support ticket.

    Thanks,

Optonline blocked smtp to server outside of their network about 5 - 6 months ago.

  7. Thanks for the info!! I guess I'll contact Optonline to see if it can be resolved somehow.

    Thanks again.

  8. Had it resolved with Optonine by using their outgoing smpt server address: mail.optonline.net

    Thanks for your help!
