Cannot sync with Outlook 2007

  1. I am trying to sync Smarter Mail with Outlook 2007.

    I downloaded the SmarterMail sync application, installed, setup and tried to sync.

    I tested the connection it passes all tests, but when I try to sync I get the message: 'Could not connect - SmarterMail 3.1 or greater required'. DiscountASP.net uses SmarterMail Enterprise 4.3.

    No help is available from SmaterMail... any help would be appreciated.

  2. Thanks for the response. I uninstalled and re-installed, without any change.

    The really frustrating part is that here is ZERO free support for SmarterMail. I finally lobbed an email to the Sales@ address, but I am not expecting much.

    Further, my post on their forum has 30+ views and no replies. I would have hoped a the least some of their staff would be sacanning the forum.

    Generally displeased with the product and the service.

  4. Maybe the dot in the e-mail address?
    I've seen code fail because of addresses like that in the past.
