Hi All, I am trying to deploy a 2.0 app to the webserver. I use the "Copy Website" function in VS Web developer 2005 express edition. Theprogress bar shows that it is finished but the screen still says "uploading files". I have to click the stop button or the IDE hangs. After clicking stop, I get a pop ip asking if I want to stop the Copy. If I click Yes, I get the "Microsoft Visual WB has encountered a problem and needs to close" popup and and then restarts the IDE. The thing is that sometimes the files are transferred and sometimes not. any help would be appreciated

Can you explain what is Active FTP and how to switch to it. I have the same problem. I am using the VWD.
