Cant delete an unused folder from the production root site.

    Good day, I have been trying to delete a folder which I currently do not have any need for in the production root site, I get an error message ' cannot remove file '. Please how do I go about this. Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
    I just logged into your site with VS2008 Pro and experienced the same.
    I'm guessing it has to do with frontpage extensions having been used in the site.
    My suggestion is...Open a support ticket from your Control Panel and ask to have that folder deleted.

    Are you on IIS7? we have identified some file locking issues w/ the new FTP server and are working w/ MSFT to resolve it.
