cant restore database

    cant restore database.I Do attach file.bak and get
    Failed. Please contact Technical Support immediately and do not perform any additional tasks on your database.
    any help?

    The Attach tool is for .mdf files. The Restore tool can only be used for databases backed up using the Backup tool of the Control Panel.

    restore backup failed

    sure nometter what i do i my login panel it just keep saing
    status: Failed. Please contact Technical Support immediately and do not perform any additional tasks on your database.
    So i did contact [email protected] and they send me an email:

    To authenticate you as the owner please go ahead and log into the support portal at http://support.discountasp.net and submit this issue.
