cdo smtp message erroe

  1. Hi i am new to asp.net. I am trying to send an email using remote smtp server from go daddy. The following code gives cdo.message.1 error 80040213. says that the .send method line is the error. The transport failed to connect to the server. Please help me. Thank you so much.

    If you want to relay through GoDaddy's server, you'll have to change the SMTP host to the server godaddy provided you.

    Why would you want to do that though?
