change time zone of sql server 2005

  1. Hi,
    can you tell how to chagne time zone of sql server 2005? Our time zone is GMT+5:30, and DASP time zone is different from that, so when we use getdate() function it shows different time then our current time.

    It is not possible for us to change the timezone on the server...

    you will need to adjust the time different programmatically.
     
  3. The localization features of .NET let you capture the user's local time zone and language information. Look into these for adjusting dates, times, currencies and languages to fit your users needs.
