Client tools needed for MS SQL & VS.NET?

    I am using Visual Studio.NET and i have connected to my MS SQL database in the Server Explorer on the left hand side but i can;t create a new table. My question is do i need Client tools(enterprise manager, etc.) to add and edit new tables in Visual Studio.NET? i can;t figure out any other way. Please Help!
