  1. Hi Chaps

I'd like to use the calender/mail/docs features of google apps but I don't want to lose my website from discountasp.net.

My domain manager is network solutions - not the best I know but I'm stuck with them for now.

I followed the Google apps instructions for setting up the cnames on netsol, but I don't know what changes/settings I need to make to keep discountasp.net for my website and ftp.

I did read this article, but this is using the discountasp domain manager which I don't have because I'm with netsol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Russ

  2. Had a very quick response from discountasp.net support.

All I had to do was ping my domain names and use that IP address for the A records for www.mydomain.com, *.mydomain.com and ftp.mydomain.com.

I now have google apps for my email/calendar/docs and discountasp.net for www/ftp

    Cheers
