Configuration settings on DNN 4.4.1 - Help please

The newest release of DNN has added some additional configuration settings dealing with Compression and Performance.

According to their forums I've set my portal up for optimal performance but now I'm have a major caching issue and getting errors left and right. Since I'm not seeing anything on their forums with this same issue (and I am pretty confident I would, it's that prominent), I was hoping someone in here could help.
