I've got Visual Web Developer 2008 Express and Visual Studio 2008. I have connected in using FTP but I get a warning that the login details are passed unencrypted. Is there a safer way to connect to my site?
Have you considered using a full FTP client to connect to our server such as FileZilla and upload your files. On our IIS 7 platform FileZilla can utilize FTP over SSL. Refer to this kb link for more information. http://kb.discountasp.net/KB/c80/ftp-client-setup-iis-7-ftp-over-ssl.aspx
