  1. I am currently with a different service provider. I have a ASP.NET web service that creates audio files. The service works as expected on localhost, but when I deploy it, I get the one of the following errors:

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

    or

    Failed to establish socket connection.

It appears to be a network/system issue, but the tech support hasn't been able to fix it.

I would like to make sure that this webservice works on Discount ASP.NET servers before switching. Is there a way for me to verify this? Does this sound like a network issue that I might not have if I switch providers?

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host is not a network issue, it's an error caused by the remote host (server). Without a little more description of what you are doing it isn't really possible to speculate where it may or may not work.

Having said that you can always open an account here and test it. We have a 30 day money back guarantee.

The error is very generic. It is difficult for us to tell you that your app will definitely work because we can't really pinpoint the error.

I recommend doing what MJP suggested and open an account to test it. You don't even need to update your domain name DNS until you confirm the app work.
