The latency issues have still not been resolved. The thread documenting the issue has not been updating for 5 days. When I email asking when this is going to be resolved all I get told is "we are working on it". Does anyone have an actual estimate on when this will be resolved? This issue is directly affecting my site and my users!
+1 here. My problem seems mostly around Site -> DB (both hosted at discountasp) connectivity with frequent timeout.
There hasn't been an update to that thread because unfortunately we don't have anything new to add. I will get an update on the situation today and add it to the thread in the outages forum.
Update Was the scheduled outage last night to address the latency issue? There was no update posted. I know I'm new to this service but I have a project that is/was slated to be hosted here. I'm having concerns now. Not pulling the plug yet but how trouble issues are handled means everything. Customers generally don't remember problems, they remember how they were resolved. Thanks in advance for the reply.
Yes. The outage was to address the latency problem. From what we see so far, the problem has been resolved. We'll post a post mortem once we confirm everything is working.
Guys, I don't believe we are out of the woods yet. All my pages with DB access and VERY slow. And at times do very strange things ( connections not properly closing even if inside finally { } block etc). I am on sql2k804, I know there was an issue with it earlier, could it still possibly be present? thanks
