  1. I figured this out - I have ZoneAlarm. They must have put in some update last week that prevents me from copying out the .aspx files. I turned it off to copy and now it's good; everything copies fine. I need to figure out what parameter does this, though. If anyone knows, feel free to reply here.

  2. Hi,
I used to use ZoneAlarm products but got tired of those sort of things with it.
For several years now all I run on XP and Vista is Windows Live OneCare and find it awesome for a development machine.
    Salute,

  3. Mark: thanks for that tip. I'm sick of ZoneAlarm too! I'm getting a new dev laptop soon so will go with your suggestion, I think. Thanks again-

  4. All of the sudden, after 4 years of no problems, I cannot copy up to DASP servers. The code behind (.aspx) pages copy up with zero bytes and I get a compiler error. Is anyone else having this problem or know what to do?? I could do a publish on one of my sites, but another is getting errors even after publishing. Please help!! Thanks-

  5. Its not just zonealarm. Firewall issues represent a good third of the cause of majority of connectivity issues we receive. I do have to agree though the windows firewall seems to be the least intrusive.
