Crystal Reports not supported here, right?

Did I see somewhere in the forums that Crystal Reports is not supported here?

 

That is correct. Crystal Reports aren't supported due to licensing issues, but you can use the alternative Reporting Services

I've used both Crystal Reports and Reporting Services at various times. You will be pleasantly surprised when you jump into Reporting Services. Get a copy of "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services Step by Step" by Stacia Misner.

RS is a very well developed reporting platform and it meshes perfectly with SQL Server.

I used CR extensively with SQL Server for SIEMENS AG.
For the same exact financial reports in Msft RS the savings would have been huge.
They were billing us per processor and for my Developer version, which had a by-user cap on it.
