  1. Hi,
I'm now using Windows Vista and have trouble migrating my legacy SQL Server 2000 databases to SQL Server 2005 Express.
Could anybody please help me out?

  2. The legacy databses are on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server computer connected to a Windows Vista computer through network. Migration is successful on Windows 2000. Now I want switch everything tothe Windows Vista computer, including the databases built with SQL Server 2000. I reproduced the same migration steps as for the Windows 2000 system but to no avail. These steps include Backup/Restore andAttach/Detach. The key point is the legacy databases are visible on the Windows Vista computer only through the network, not resident components. My goal is how to integrate the legacy databases into my SQLExpress server to be made compatible with SQL Server 2005 databases.

    Thanks,

    Luc
