Database Setup Problem

I checked, but if you are referring to my first post I put brackets with post changed and deleted the password just because I was posting it here and didn't want to include username and ID. The connection string matches the exact string in my CP as I checked again to make sure as you suggested.





Any idea what else it could be in the string.

Thepassword that you're passing is probably incorrect. Are you using the one given by DiscountASP? The connection string in thecontrol panelhas***** as the password, but of course you replace that with your actual password. You can also reset it in the MS SQL 2005 section of your control panel if you are unsure of what your db password is.

kay I been looking everywhere I created list in VWExp2205 and w/ use of SQLExp2005 databse it is in the root under app_data/tasks.mdf, I detached uploaded and attached and it can be seen in studio management. I cahnged my connection string to the one given to me under my control panel, yet I still get an error, any help you can provide would be great.

 

Try checking your connection string it doesn't look like you got it configrued for the correct DB login name and password.
