Remove the index.aspx with FTP or re-order your Default Document filenames using the Default Document tool in the Control Panel IIS Manager. Hello, I've just signed up with DASP and have nearly got things working. When i go to my site address though, I get the default index.aspx (welcome to discount asp.net) instead of my default.aspx page. When I type in myaddress.com/default.aspx, it works. I've gone into IIS and changed the default pages so it only sees default.aspx. How can I make it so that when you go to my site, it automatically comes up with my default.aspx? Thanks so much, Jane.
Also, forgot to add .. I uploaded my site using VS.NET and I removed all the default items I could see but this index.aspx still shows. Do I have to use FTP to remove this default page? Thanks
Tryclearing your browser cache. Can you try the altnerative url listed in your control panel Account Info section too. Jane, did you figure this out? I deleted the index.aspx and html from my domain root and changed the order of the default docs in IIS Manager, but still I am seeing the discountASP placeholder page still. UltraGnome /emoticons/confused.gif
