Hi, I have a strange problem with my website. I uploaded all my files to the root application by using the Publish option in VS 2010. But when I try to access my website www.mettersearch.com, the custom error page is displayed saying that the Default.aspx page was not found. I checked the root folder using FTP to ensure that all files are there. It's really strange that some pages can be accessed while others are inaccessible. The custom error page was uploaded during the Publish operation. Am I doing something wrong or should I do something more for the root application to detect all my files? Thanks, Naveen
Hi Naveen, I took a quick look at your account but could not find a default.aspx file. If you open a support ticket HERE and provide us with screen shots and/or a log file, we can investigate further.
Default.aspx file not found @Tasslehoff: I deleted everything from the root application and uploaded the files to a sub-directory. That's why you might not have seen the page. The files work under the sub-directory!! I'll upload them again to root app so that you can take a look at it. In the meantime I'll open a ticket. Thanks, Naveen
The issue has been solved now. I just copied the files into a sub-directory, made that an application and then deleted that application. Then I uploaded the files to the root application. It's working fine now!!!
