Default page will not change

My web site displays the same default page no matter what is in the root directory. Even if there is nothing in the root directory, it displays the same page.

I tried changing the default page ranking in IIS Manager in Control Panel. I tried deleting my local cache. I tried every possible default page but the same old page keeps coming up - no matter what I have in the root directory.

Any ideas would be most appreciated!

 

Domain is iolite.netand it points to DiscountASP.NET for sure

Yesterday, I could change the default page. Today it's an old one like I said and I cannot change it.

If I include the default page in the URL, it works: http://www.iolite.net/default.aspx

If I don't, it doesn't - I get the old one.

Thanks. After some experimenting, I discovered it was the network I was plugged into. This particular network as caches pages and only checks for new ones overnight. Needless to say, I won't be using that connection for development work!
