I am a fairly experienced VB developer hack, and have been developing for my company's intranet for a while now using VB Professional 2005, MSSSE 2005, ASP.Net, AJAX, on IIS 6 on a 2003 server.

I want to start developing sites for customers outside of work on my own so at home I downloaded all the 2008 Express tools. What package should I start out with for hosting? Am I making a big leap of faith that I can take what I've learned and use 2008 Express development tools? Can I use DotNetNuke to ease the development time? I know these are loaded questions, but gotta ask.

Last question, I want to let my customer set up the domain name and pay directly for the hosting, and I just want to be their developer. How do I maintain admin type controls, but assure my customer that I don't have access to a credit card that they keep on file with you?

    Thanks in advance
