  1. Is discountasp going out of business? Several days ago my domain stopped working. I sent them email and they replied saying there was a DNS problem and that they had fixed it and should be working in 12 hours. Well, its been 4 days since that email and its still not working. I have sent two emails now since their first reply and have not reecived one reply yet. Not even the automated "we will reply soon" mail.

If I use discountasp DNS servers in my TCP/IP properties I can access my site and email no problem, but most all other domains won't work. I've tried several public DNS servers thinking maybe my ISP's DNS server is just not being updated fast enough, but no DNS servers can find hossweb.com. Also, several of my friends have told me they can not access my domain and any email they send me is being rejected.

If that's the case, our name server is resolving your domain properly. The problem probably lies in the domain registrar's DNS setting that we do not have control over.

i can't confirm anything here because of lack of information, i suggest you create a support ticket.
