  1. [IMG]We have been moving an application we have had since early asp to DiscountASP and have had issue after issue.

The latest is the need for our program to use AspEncrypt.dll and there is no support for "third party or custom components" ?

Before we drop DiscountASP, I am wondering if there are any suggestions or work arounds ? I am not a programmer but
wonder if there is a "supported" replacement for what the dll is doing in our program ... it is used during the login
by the administrator to the superadmin panel. I am not sure if it is used anywhere else, but I know the standard
user can login to the regular interface.

Do you mean you are looking for a replacement to ASPEncrypt?

Hmmm. unfortunately we don't have a replacement for aspcrypt.

We dropped all serverobjects product because they have issues w/ Windows 2003 SP1. It also seems like the company has gone out of business. I don't think you can download ASPCrypt any more.

  5. Windows 2003 sp1 only allow custom .DLL to be available to ISUR_ user as fallowed

    First Register the .DLL

Then right click on the .dll security add the ISUR_ user Read/Access permission

    That should do it.

I have a .DLL that does that too

  6. I am sorry for such a delay ... I have not had time to get back to this issue ...

I am not sure I can register the dll since I don't have it and it is a share server ?

Also you said up to SP1 ? I am sure they have the latest SP installed ...

I certainly would like to get this fixed ..
