  1. Hello, i'm sorry i'm new and kinda noob too with dns config

Well i bought my dns's name at hostbasket.com but when i saw prizes of their hosting... i directly changed and moved here, it's really looking more nice :)

So i came here with my DNS... i asked yesterday webhosting to transfer it to your dns's server and they did.

But i dunno how to configure it... i took the DNS manager tools and i started playing with it (i'm noob with hosting but not with computers)

So i finally understood my DNS was pointing to the mail's server ip.... so i removed the www.domain.com (www.odj.be) from the first part with ip and i added a cname joining my dns address with your real adresse (....web114.discountasp....)

I did the same with the ftp

and for the ftp it worked fine. But for the http.... i can't get it working :(

I dunno how can i do, is it possible to associate my hosting address to my dns name? or should i take another services?

Oups i noticed something else :) it's annoying beeing so noob.... my dns http://odj.be is correctly pointing to my hosting address but i can't do the same with http://www.odj.beis there something special to do?

Thx for answer and sorry for noobs questions :)

Your name servers are pointing to our DNS. You do not need to mess around with the DNS Manager if you plan to use basic services - ftp, email...etc. These services are all setup for you when the account is provisioned.

If you need to do something special, like use an outside email service - then you would need to make DNS updates with the DNS manager.
