Do I neet two MS SQL server 2005?

Discussion in 'ASP.NET 2.0' started by lyplus, Aug 18, 2006.

  1. I am developing a web application using Visual Web Developer (ASP.NET 2.0)
    </o:p>
    In side of App_Data, I have two databases, ?ASPNETDB.MDF? contains authentification data for user login and ?Database.mdf? contains client data.
    </o:p>
    I tried uploading my databases using ?SQL Tool Suite?, it seems to me that if I upload ?ASPNETDB.MDF?, then client data does not work. And if I upload ?Database.mdf? then user login does not work. I guess it is because the first (current) SQL database gets overwritten when I upload the second SQL database???
    </o:p>
    My plan with discount ASP.NET is one web hosting + one MS SQL server 2005 (300MG disc space).
    </o:p>
    Do I need to have two MS SQL server 2005 to solve this problem? Or is there another alternative to solve this problem?

    I am new in this field.....
    </o:p>
    Thank you
