Does my .Net2 website work on Win2008 hosting package?

  1. Hi freinds.
    I registered newly a Win2008package and i want to buy Sql2005, because my web site is writtn by .Net2 on Sql2005.
    Does my .Net2 website work on Win2008 hosting package?
    if not how should i change my hosting package to Win2003?

    You already made the right choice, stick with IIS7, it rocks bigtime. [​IMG]

    If you're running Vista it's really easy to test locally and on the remote IIS7 site.
    Can also be done with XP SP3, but much more fun with Vista.

    like mark was saying. IIS 7 is a better choice because of better stability and performance.

  4. For further clarification. .NET 3.0 and 3.5 are more or less extensions +bug fixes to .NET 2.0. What this means is that every .NET 2.0 application is also a valid .NET 3.5 app. In fact, there is no option on IIS 7 to use the .NET 3.5 Runtime because technically the .NET 3.5 runtime doesn't exist.
