  1. I have a website called www.SiteX.com. Is there a way that I can mask the domain so that if I type www.SiteY.com it will still access all of SiteX's pages?

I have an application running under SiteX.com but I want to be able to change the Domain based on who is logged in to SiteY. Is something like this possible?

    Thanks,
    Paul

There isn't anything that will prevent your site from being accessible through multiple domains but you'll need to use the Domain Pointer Manager to purchase a Root Domain Pointer addon which will allow multiple domains to resolve to your account. The addon simply resolves a domain name to the contents in your root directory so you may find this utility to be useful since most hosting providers issue a redirect.

The ability to switch the domains displayed in the address bar of a browser may be a bit of a challenge since you may run into cross-site issues but if you have a sound idea on how to implement and deploy your idea, there shouldn't be anything on our servers that would inhibit progress.

  3. Thanks for the Reply Winston. So let me just get this straight. I can use the Root Domain Pointer to add another domain name. This new domain name, SiteY, will be able to access any of the SiteX resources? Sounds like just the solution I am looking for.

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Yes, that's absolutely correct.

If you need, open up a ticket with the Technical Support department for some additional information and a support specialist will be able to provide you with further details.
