Domain Name Renewal for domain names registered previously to joining DASP

    This is a two part question for my domains, my .com previously registered in UK then transfered to DASP
    will expire. My previous host in UK would always renew domains without asking, does DASP do this?

    Secondly I have a .co.uk and a .eu which I hope to move to DASP also, can DASP auto renew these Europe
    and UK domain namesalso?

    If your domain is registered somewhere else, you'll have to continue renew the domain w/ the original registrar as we do not accept domain registrar transfer.


    If your domain is registered with us, we'll automatically renew it unless to inform us to not renew.

    This may prove tricky as I have transfered DNS management to DASP and was planning to change the other domains also.


    The UK host said "once I have transfered to another hosting company (i.e) DNS altered when I opened my account with DASP, they will no longer renew also"


    Does this mean I will have to approach an independent internet registry company for all three domains?

    We cannot initiate registrar transfers for .co.uk or .org.uk domain names. We suggest that you keep your domain name with the current registrar and simply update the DNS to point to our name servers.


    If your current registrar does not provide registration-only service, and the domain must be transferred, contact one of the UK domain registrars who specialize in .co.uk domains, such as http://www.nameroute.co.uk or http://www.123domainnames.co.uk.


    Most ICANN accredited domain registrars do not offer registrar transfer service for .co.uk, or other country-specific domains.

    The problem is that we are not a fully qualified registrar. We are only a reseller so we cannot perform registrar transfers. Also we can't register international domain names even if they are open to the public.
