  1. Hi,

I have another .co.uk domain that I would like to display the same as .com
    thus:thiswouldbetheexampledomainname.com/index.aspx
    or
    thiswouldbetheexampledomainname.co.uk/index.aspx

Would this be the Domain Pointer to Root? if the charge of $15 a one off? if so how do I set it up? Do I need separate directories for the .co.uk and .com? Can there be separate directories?

    Thanks,

    Tom

  2. All ok now, once the ns changes had propogated.

    Thanks

  3. Ok, I've ordered the domain pointer for root for thisismydomainexample.co.uk and have changed the third-party nameservers to ns1.discountasp.net (and ns2 and ns3).

Is there anything else needing to be done?

    Yes. This is domain pointer.

You can enable it in the control panel.

  5. Will this only work for websites, or will email also automatically get delivered to the DiscountASP mailbox?

    Thanks,

    Mark

  6. Edit: I believe this is only for websites as you still need some kind of email hosting/email forwarding

    Is this correct?

    Regarding email I have a question;
My host says "If your domain name's DNS is managed with a different provider, you may need to provide them with a host name for your MX record. Your DNS provider may also ask you which priority you would like this MX record set up with. If this is your only MX record a priority of 10 will be sufficient."

Arediscountasp managing my DNS, if so how do I get the MX record set up for the domain so my email will work again.

    Thanks

    Tom
