  1. Hi,

I have a domain domain1.com and i want my second domain (domain2.com) to point to domain1.com/page1.

Is it possible to do this ?

    Thanks
    Greg

  2. That shouldn't be a problem, this is a common question we get around here.

You should take a look at the following knowledge base article as a reference, there is some sample code available to get your started.

  3. ok i'm not sure i'm understanding it right, if my have mydomain1.com/page1 that need to be the redirection of mydomain2.com, when I buy my domain2.com I set the dns to the same dns of mydomain1. And in the server code of my host of mydomain1 I check the servername. Is that it ?

    Thanks

    Greg

  4. Let's clear up a couple things before we move on.

Have you set up a domain pointer for mydomain2.com? If not you are going to need to set one up before you can point your secondary domain to our servers?

If you are not sure what a domain pointer is I would recommend reviewing the following knowledge base article.

By default domain pointers will point to the root of your account. If you have a default document set up for your site let's say page1.aspx, the domain pointer will display that page.

So, essentially whether you visit domain1.com or domain2.com both will show the page1.aspx page.

The knowledge base article I provided earlier comes in handy if you need to redirect either of your domains to a sub-directory, for example domain1.com redirects to --> domain1.com/subdir/subpage.aspx.
