Domain Transfer

    I'm transferring a domain name from Name Secure and followed what I believed to be all of the proper procedures. However it's been about twenty four hours and I've not received an email from discountasp.net that will start the transfer process. Any idea of how long I should expect to wait?

    We are not a domain registrar so you cannot perform a Domain Registrar Transfer with DiscountASP.NET, if that is what you initiated. To use our hosting service, you would use the NameSecure domain web interface and update your domain's name servers to point to our DNS, which is:
    ns1.discountasp.net
    ns2.discountasp.net

    Remember, name server updates do take about 2-3 days for the domain to fully resolve to the new location.

    I saw that you had changed your domain name. How can I go about changing my domain name? Also, is there a fee for this? Thanks.
