Hi All, since this has happened twice now I thought I would report it here on the forums in case someone else sees the same. I have a hosting site for a few small sites on DNN 6.1.03. About three months ago it suddenly stopped and threw up the under construction page. I could not figure it out.....So I went in and set <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" /> to Off to see if I could get a message out of it. Suddenly it started working again...no other change was made. Yesterday it stopped working again....and I just went in and made that same change and it started working again. Very weird. Of course I have set it back to remoteonly now and it is still working. I have no explanation as to what has happened. But just in case someone else sees the same they might add to this thread.
Which version of Windows/IIS are you on? We've seen a few tickets regarding this problem, and recycling the application pool seemed to fix it.
