DotNetNuke and URL

Discussion in 'ASP.NET 2.0' started by pangeaware, Mar 16, 2006.

  1. I have installed dotnetnuke 4.0.2 in a subdirectory of my site per the instructions in the knowledgebase and I would like to know how I can make this dotnetnuke app to show up when my domain name, www.pangeaware.com, is entered; rather than www.pangeaware.com/pangeanuke. Thank you all for your help.

    you have 2 options

    1) Install DNN on your site root. This is not recommended because this will cause trouble when you want to create another application in a sub directory. If you only intend to use DNN in your site, it will not be a problem

    or

    2) add a redirect on your site root to redirect to www.pangeaware.com/pangeanuke.
