  1. Hello

I have installed DotNetNuke into the /Customers directory on my web site, as per the instructions on the site.

However, when I try to load up the site for the first time, I get the following error:

    Server Error in '/Customers' Application.
The UNC path should be of the form \\server\share.

As far as I know, DNN cannot be used on UNC paths, so is there anything that can be done so that it does not use them?

  3. Were you able to reach the wizard?

I simply downloaded the installer version(Download here),copied all the files the sub-folder(configured as a an application ,using the web appln. tool) and followed the wizard.I was able to install the DNN w/o any issues. I would recommend you to clear everything(db & files) and start from scratch. Also,if you run the site locally before uploading it,it stores your local url as an alias in the database,so to avoid this, upload it directly w/o running it locally.

  4. I'm having this same problem and nothing has changed. I was on the site within the past two days, so this has to be something that's happened since Wednesday.

  5. Recycling the app pool fixed it.

  6. That was thoughtful of you to post the resolution. [IMG]
