  1. I am trying to the downgrade a SQL Server 2005 discountasp database to my local SQL Server 2000.

I understand that it's not easy. One web forum provides steps to generate scripts to create the sql2k db and then one exports the data.

My tool for working with the discountasp sql2k5 database is MS Sql Server Management Express, v9.0. I'm able to generate the scripts. On the data, the procedure says to select Tasks > Export Data.

That option is not present in my tool.

Others on forum discussions say use bcp.

How would I do this on discountasp?

    Thanks,

why do you want to do that?? MSFT has discontinued MS 2000 already.
