EMail Forms

  1. Hi!

I'm trying to use FrontPage Forms to create a feedback form and email results to a regular email address. It doesn't seem to work. It works fine on other hosts, but this is the first time I've tried it here.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks...Dan

  3. Did you turn ON FrontPage Extension support on your DASP web server by using your control panel?[IMG]

Yes, I checked that. Thanks for the suggestion.

  5. No, I checked to be sure FrontPage extensions were set and they were. But, it still doesn't work. Not sure what more to do. I may remove and redo the page.

    Thanks...Dan

  7. I find that if you have your own ASP page and simply add FrontPage components to it, then it won't work. I recommend sticking with ASP and create your own custom form and use the CDO component to send email.

  8. Hi Aristotle...

Okay, well I'm not sure how to do that. Is that a routine that I can grab, or does it go beyond that?

    Thanks...Dan

  9. You're right, I didn't state it very well.

The form doesn't get any errors, but the email is never recieved. I've confirmed I have the correct email address.

I tried renaming the page to .html (from .asp) and it seems to work. Other parts of the page won't work without asp, so I can't keep it that way, but there may be some connection to ASP.

    What do you think?

    Thanks...Dan

  10. Well thanks. I looked at it and I'm not sure I can make that work.

I may just link to an HTML page and use the standard FrontPage stuff. [IMG]

    Thanks...Dan

  12. Hi...

I didn't really get it working on the primary page. I created a link to a second page which I created in HTML. I'd prefer to do it all on the first page so yes, if you have some code that may help, I'd like to try it.

    Thanks...Dan
