  1. Is anyone else having issues with emails not getting delivered to the recipient, when sent from a discountasp.net hosted website?

I can send people email from my website & I get delivery delays and failures... but I can use my MS Outlook and my personal email account and I can have very nice email conversations with them.

I've also noticed this when I have users join my forum. The forum then generates a "Activation" email with a link that the user must click to activate their forum account. Well, many of these emails are not getting delivered. But once again I can email them successfully with my personal email account & MS Outlook.

Just curious if anyone else is having these issues, as I'm getting quite frustrated.

    Thanks

  2. I havent heard any other reports of this. Could the email be getting caught up in the destination users email filter?

  4. It is actually from my forum software and from my MS Outlook (configured to use my discountasp.net email account)...

I can communicate with these individuals via my personal email account.

    It is very strange indeed..

  5. For some reason certain people are having problems where the email is bouncing back to them ?

This is not true of all but can anyone suggest if this is an ongoing problem?

  6. Yes, I am still experiencing this issue. It seems that it might be by domain?

Is anyone else seeing these symptoms?

The best thing to do is to send in a support ticket with a copy of the bounced email so we can investigate what is going on.

  8. I have had this problem too. The problem is the the mail servers have one of two problems. They temporarily get blacklisted (for spending too much spam and/or a sudden increase in the amount of mail sent), or they have reverse-dns lookup problems. I have encountered both in the last 6 months or so. They usually rectify themselves in a day or two (with a little help from support). Just set up a ticket with support and they will follow up on it.

  9. Thank you for the info... I will contact support as I am still having the issue (on & off)..
