Emails from database

    Dear guys

    Is this possible to send email out of database? If not, which approach do you recommend? I need to send Alerts to end users on incomming data to sql server or at most afew secconds after taht.

    You can't e-mail from SQL Server here but you can poll your database then e-mail from any dynamic page.
    If you need an example of that look at an ASP.NET CMS that can e-mail users, most of them do.
    Or for Classic ASP take a look at the Snitz forums, they do a great job of polling SQL Server for e-mail addresses.
