FILESTREAM functionality in SQL Server 2008

Can anyone tell me if the FILESTREAM functionality is supported in SQL Server 2008 on Discount ASP servers?

Hi,
This is a great improvement but since it needs the file system I doubt it will.
Unless I'm mistaken sp_filestream_configure isn't on the 2008 Web version.
You first have to run EXEC [sp_filestream_configure] @enable_level = 3; to enable this feature.
Contact Support to be sure...I'm just offering a bit of info.

Your post was almost a year ago, is it still the case where the FileStream attribute isn't supported? It's such a great feature ...

Yes I'm afraid Filestream is still not supported on our shared hosting environment.
