First log into SQL SERVER 2005 database, and 50+ dbs there!

  1. We just got the SQL Server 2005 database add-on w/ DASP, and when I just connected to it, there are 50+ db's in there.

    Some are named like spicygirls, nuttymoives, etc.

    Should these really be there?

    Is this because we all share the same server if we don't have a separate hosted environment?

    That is correct, every shared host I have used mssql with has always had this issue. You shouldn't be able to see any data in the db's (unless they have the guest user enabled).

    Yeah, I can't see any of the data in those dbs.

    According to Microsoft's engineer in the SQL team, SQL 2005 can easily handle 1000+ database on a single server
