Do I have to do something on the server side to enable FP 2002 Search to work? I've added the search component to a page, but "The page cannot be found" page always comes back. It's trying to display http://www.MyWeb.com/MySubWeb/_derived/nortbots.htm The "Myweb.com" and "MySubWeb" parts are correct, but where did the "_derived" and "nortbots.htm" come from? Thanks. -- Mark
OK guys. I finally received word from our admin team. We started a case w/ MSFT's FP Sever Extension support group and finally they confirmed (after some extensive research) that the FP development group decided to remove this feature without letting anyone know (not even the support team knows when the case was first started) Here's the email we received from MSFT I wanted to just recap our discussion about your case. The FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 (version 5.0.2.5012) for Windows 2003 Server had the built-in search feature (WAIS) removed from the server extensions. Currently we are working on some documentation stating this. Please let me know if you have any qustions. Thanks...
