From my Windows Application How Do I connect my SQL Server DATABASE in discountasp

 

I'm working on a series of Tutorial videos for this right now...

If you give me an idea of what you're using it will help, you and me.

Yes, I have a local copy of the SQL Server. I want to add and edit data via windows application on discountasp server

For the example I'll be using SQL Server 2005 on Vista.

I got the following error message:

When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. That is the default behavior under security settings however you can easily make the needed changes:

For XP and Vista it also helps to pin the SQL Server Config tools so you can access then quickly.
