FTP -- 2-minute timeout/disconnect??!!??

    Whenever I connect to my account the server disconnects me in 2 minutes! This is the first host I've been on with a time limit....

    I understand trying to limit the number of open / idle connections, but is it possible to "up" the timeout???

    Yes, definetly! The 2min time out is so annoying.

    We are looking into this.

    120 seconds is the default setting on IIS FTP

    Amen. That is killing me. I too understand the need for a timeout, but let's get real. AND TELL US what you decide. Don't just leave us in the dark. Thanks. Scott

    we have increased the time out to 300 seconds.
