  1. I cannot connect to my site via FTP. I cannot enable Frontpage Extensions.

I basically have a worthless site that I can't do anything with.

    FTP Problems:

Using Expression Web, here's what I enter:
    Remote Website Location:
    ftp://ftp.gavoryn.com
    FTP Directory:
    I've tried none, I've tried /gavoryn

    Username:
I've tried gavoryn and [email protected] and gavoryn.com/gavoryn

None of them seem to connect in any of combination.

I would like to try the default username, but expression web will NOT allow you use a username with a ' | ' character in it.

So why try FTP in the first place?

    FrontPage Problems:
I have no way to enable FrontPage extensions on my site. You will need to post a screenshot of exactly where to find it, because I'm pretty sure it's missing from my control panel.

If you're using Expression Web Designer as your preferred editor on an account hosted on a Windows Server 2008 system, the pipe character issue that you're running into is a limitation of the application itself. We've contacted Microsoft regarding this issue and were told it would be addressed in a future patch Q10585.

The FrontPage Server Extensions aren't supported on the Windows 2008/IIS 7 systems as well which is why you're unable to locate the utility in the IIS Tools in your Control Panel Q10567

What I'd recommend doing is opening up a ticket with the Technical Support department through the Helpdesk Ticket Manager in your Control Panel requesting a reverse migration to a Windows 2003/IIS 6 system where the pipe character isn't required for the FTP user name and FrontPage Server Extensions are formally supported. There isn't any cost involved in the migration and you may want to reference this Community Forum post to expedite the process.
