FTP before DNS resolved?

  1. I have switched my DNS over to DASP , but it hasn't resolved yet. I need to upload the files for when the DNS does roll over. Shouldn't I be able access the ftp (Not the temp ftp) for the site before I roll over and there is nothing there? (OR will the temp ftp site temp url be what you see once the dns rolls over?)

    Sorry I don't really know how to word this, I hope this makes sense.
    (Basically shouldn't I be able to access my actual ftp before the site rolls over.)

    You can use the temporary ftp address to upload your site and you can view your site with the temporary url. See the Account Information section of your control panel for the temp addresses. These are set up especially for your case when you want to get started before your DNS is updated. The temp addresses go directly to your webspace so when your domain resolves to our location, your site will be functional with the domain name.
