  1. Hi, I just purchased the hosting service from discountasp.net
and was trying to connect to ftp
but I always get this error message:

Response: 530 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
Error: Could not connect to server

I am using filezilla ftp client 3.1.5 version and I did follow the instruction from this page
    http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10577

I am sure the FTP is started.

    some help? thank you!

  2. Hi,
If it's still not working contact Support.
I've never used Filezilla so I can't help with that.
If you think the problem may be related to your FTP app I'd suggest you try this awesomeFirefox FTP addon.
    http://fireftp.mozdev.org/

It works great, even on IIS7 servers here.
Easy to setup too, and it's free. [IMG]
