I'm using Filezilla, and I've been able to connect to Discountasp.net many times in the past. My FTP profile ahs not changed, but now when I try to connect here's what I get: It freezes there. Then a minute later I get this: Any idea why this is happening? Is the FTP server not working correctly? Thanks!
Try disabling your Firewall and Antivirus and change the connection mode on your FTP client from Passive Mode to Active Port mode. Passive mode tends to be tempermental and some Firewall/Antivirus settings can be so restricted that it blocks any FTP connection whether it is Passive or Activer port mode. Although it may have worked in the past updates to Firewalls or Antiviruses can altern the settings. So don't take for granted that your firewall/antivirus has never blocked FTP connections.
