FTP Permission Error

    I've been trying to delete some files using FTP. I've tried doing it using Internet Explorer and DreamWeaver. Unfortunately it keeps popping up saying 'An error occurred deleting the file or folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder. Details: 550 2_0_50727: Access Denied' Any advice?

    Check whether the FTP user has permission to write to the folder.Use the Permission Manager in the Control Panel.

    it's hard to tell just by the error.


    can you post the ftp log?

    I can put up new files but I cant take off old stuff. Is that what you mean?
