FTP Server using FileVista

    Hi everyone

    I am facing this problem regarding FTP Server. I want a web-based control so that different users can upload and download documents. I am trying to install FileVista on the discountAsp account given to me.

    The above link is the one which i am trying to follow. I copy the contents of the FileVista folder to my /root. And i install it. But after installation, according to the tutorial, we should get a welcome screen when we click on installed directory [FileVista] in my case. But i dont get a welcome page. Rather, i get the sub-directories.

    Any help would be greatly appreciate.

    Sounds like your default document isn't getting pulled up automatically and instead the directory list is showing.

    Check to make sure that the default document exists in IIS by logging into the control panel. Click on IIS Tools on the left menu.

    Then click on Default Documents tab and enter the default document.

    Click update

    Go back to your web page and refresh.
